Reviewed it in 2007 and not much has changed. I always park by pool so as not to have to fight the trees. The mini golf is getting a lot worn. However if your doing the I-84 corridor there is not much else in the area.

It is on a hill but I had no problems getting to, into, or out of our site. I did not use the water so can't comment on the water pressure. I enjoyed our one night and would stay again. It also was nice having deer wandering through the campground.

Nice clean new campground. It works as a destination or a one nighter. If staying more than one night remember to bring your boat and fishing gear. Plenty of room and good restrooms.

Older KOA that is in very good shape but like all old KOAs it is tight and not really big enough for today's big rigs. I would call the sites small and tight. However the office people were nice and on a cold rainy day the pizza, available at the office restaurant was very nice. They also do breakfast. I would stay again as a one nighter but I might also look for another stop.

Now with paved roads we found it to be really nice. The roads were wide and the sites easy to get into. Ours was gravel/crushed stone but the rain overnight did not affect it. The river and skyline were nice to see out the front window and being only a mile from the downtown of Little Rock was very nice.

It is what it is, a fixed up parking lot in a city. Having said that it is clean, easy to maneuver in with wide roads and sites and if you get lucky in the 500/600 section you get to see the arch out your window. They also are the recommended big rig sites. A shuttle will take you to the casino for dinner, drinks, or gaming. You can get lost very easily on the exit and entrance ramps so stay alert. Some of the turns could be better marked.

Very old KOA that is about 50% permanent. Looks bad but it worked for my one night. It is tight, but had many transient big rigs. If I could I would not stay again but then again it was not the worst I have been in.

We had been here a few years ago and not much has changed now that KOA has arrived. We were next to the entrance road which means you go through the park to get to your site and to leave. The park is OK, but it is showing its age. The pull throughs are narrow and the roads are narrow and the turns have trees on the edges of the road. It just is a pain. OK for a one nighter.

I would not try this park in anything bigger than a 40ft. MH. We did it in our 38 ft and toad but it is tight and narrow getting to campground and the last turn is very tight. The site was long but very un-level. We were in the old section and the newer sites are much more level. It is pretty and if we here with a smaller rig and children I would probably have liked it a lot more. I probably would not return or use it as an overnight stop.

This is the best one nighter RV Park period. New wide sights, wide roads, dinner and breakfast available for a reasonable price, full time RV service on site, free laundry, $1.00 ice, on the honor system, you can wash rig or they will for a fee, and private shower/rest rooms. They had a 3rd night free promotion while we were there. We had a nail in our toad tire and the on site repair fixed it for $15 and we did not have to leave the sight. It is not a resort in any sense of the word, but a great one nighter or more, if touring the area.

We are here for a rally and found the park older, but easy to maneuver in. The WiFi was strong at camper in the P area and showers though older were clean and worked well. Most sites in the open and great roads with no trees to duck so highly recommend as a stop for a big rig.

Pricey for one night, but if you are there for a week with children you will love it. Big and busy. Still had to duck trees when hooked to my car but not as bad as most. W-ifi is not free and starts at 2 day minimum.

As noted it is older and really caters to the seasonal set. Our site was quite unlevel but it worked as a one nighter. The site even though a pull through require us to unhook. The trees probably won't get you but the narrow entrance and exit are doable but not a favorite of mine. The sites over looking the lake are nicer. It has a 5:00 PM check out and 6:00 PM check in. It was quiet by me but a few spots down we had the 20-something party crew. Would not avoid but would not drive out of my way to get here. It is showing its age

There are wide paved spaces. It is very roomy and private yet there are no trees to duck. It could use water and sewer but is really nice. We were at a rally so have no idea of rate.

Quiet and clean, but as noted, it is on a hill and terraced into it. No problems with car and 38 ft MH. Easy to maneuver

Easy in and out. Clean and wifi though a weak signal did work. However KOA now has a new wrinkle on wifi, it was free but they monitor your bit usage and at some point (unstated amount) they will cut off service for that day. Pay showers, that lowers the rating.

Site OK..very long..not overly wide..peeked in the shower rooms and they are old and dark, but clean..OK for a self contained one niter.

My visit did not start well. When you enter the office is to the left and has a red lettered sign saying pull up. After check in you have to go around a tree back to where you came. To do this, if you have a big rig, you will have to disconnect. Then as you enter park you will see the small black lettered sign saying "big rig parking", so when you go in stay right. Just a hint to the owners all important signs should be the same color and size. Site was do able in my 38 footer but not the largest I've ever had. OK one nighter but next time might try the KOA on other side of town. You are about 14 miles west of Thunder Bay at Happy land.

One night easy in and out. Pretty much nothing around except nice little restaurant / cafe across the street. They also have square dances on weekends I believe.

Nice park. Showers were clean and very large, "big enough for two people" as the sign suggests. Wi-Fi not very strong so get a site by the house/office.

Small park that a private concession runs. Sites are wide and nice. Shower rooms are old and need some updating and shower curtains. Wi-Fi is only at the office area and free. Deer came by sites near us which was nice. Over all an OK one nighter but condition of showers and some graffiti on buildings does not lend a nice feel. Office is not staffed during the day when we were there, but may be during summer.

Small campground and looked like one-nighters get to stay in a field with hookups. Miniature golf and driving range. WiFi is $2.00 for 8 hours. All in all a good stop.

Easy sites to get into, laundry was nice. However the wifi is very weak. I could only use it at office and the only power plugs were outside on the wall and you drape your power cord to picnic table, subject to people walking into or one plug in the laundry room..give it a 2 for the wifi otherwise I would have rated it higher. It has many seasonal but they were quiet, but dog pick up and leash usage was spotty and not enforced.

it is big, it is busy, and a lot of seasonals. However we were in the back by the storage with 50 amp service and found it quiet. The wifi was rock solid, so I was a happy camper.

Nice park. The trees could use some trimming but you can get around. The wifi is very erratic. One minute strong then not there then back and weak and then gone and then back for who knows how long. Very frustrating.

Quiet with RV wash..internet worked so it was an excellent one nigher.
08/2008
rating [ 8/10 ]
It is next to a main road, but you overlook the river. The Wi-Fi was $3 and was strong. Did not use facilities but they claim private room showers and a sauna. They also have a free pressure wash. Great one nigher.

Some power sites but we dry camped. Did not use but the showers looked clean. You can dump grey for free and pay to dump black water. You are in the middle of nowhere so look at it as a wide open national park and you will enjoy your stay.
07/2008

Nice park. You can walk to everything in town. Wi-Fi was very good, and 50 amp power was very nice. They have 2 shower rooms and laundries; one in office and one in the adjacent gas station.

Its Skagway, limited space and they only care about the cruise ships. It does have many seasonal/summer workers. However when we were there for 4 days it was quiet. It also had a free 24 hr coupon for the very high cost Internet. After 24 hrs we used our air card. Saw the other 2 and they are tighter and since one next to train and the other near the ships not sure if any better. Not great, but not many options.
07/2008

Clean and neat as a pin. You park on grass with wide crushed stone roads with no dust. Only reason not a ten is the Wi-Fi does not reach the far sites.

This is a one nighter. Quiet and has power. The building/office is either under repair or rebuild. Baths looked clean but did not use.
07/2008
rating [ 7/10 ]
Tight spaces but nice owner. It has Wi-Fi and pay showers and has been noted before it can jam up at the exit/dump station. Town putting sewer in so don't know if that will help. Used my air card so not sure about Wi-Fi. Probably could not get signal or was a pay for time.
07/2008
rating [ 7/10 ]
Easy wide open park. It now has a few 50 amp sites and from them the Wi-Fi is solid and free. Showers and RV wash all are a dollar for 4 minutes. That's why the lower rating as that seems a little high for not much time.

Spent the night and other than Wi-Fi did not use any facilities. Owners are very nice and seem to really care. Wi-Fi was rock solid from coach.

This is a city park. The sites are older but do-able for a large rig. No power but water and a dump is available. It was quiet but does have some long term rigs. Nice staff. A good option if driving through or for one or two nights. Many rental class C units stay for the night before drop off.
06/2008
rating [ 7/10 ]
It is in the city so room is scarce. It is tight but slide was out and had room to park my car. Pretty quiet where in the far end but probably could be noisy if near main road. I had problems with the wifi even when in the laundry room, the internet cafe, also problems with drops on my air card. Not sure if Anchorage was having a bad day or what as no problems before or after or the next morning. The showers have no hooks or chairs for towels or clothes, so bring your own chair.

Gravel sites and area. But very quiet and wifi worked in coach. Pay extra for showers. Easy to get around in campground. Looked like best in area for big rigs.

rating [ 8/10 ]
Plenty of room and easy in and out. The wash is a pay by size of RV and they provide a brush and bucket and power rinse. Wi-Fi is OK but pay by hour or day. They do have as noted a free network cable hook up. A good place to stay before or after crossing and a chance to clean the rig.

Quiet, and 50 amp power. Wifi worked well in coach. Easy to go to Soldotna or Kenai. There is a deck overlooking the river and its wildlife. Showers are private room with sink, john, and mirror plus shower.

Sites overlook the bay and if you walk to the shore you can see "The Spit". You will see many eagles go by. It was quiet with acceptable room. The wifi worked well in the laundry room for free or you could pay and use the town system at your site. You can stay here for about half the cost of out on the spit and only be about 5 minutes away.

This place was clean and neat. The Wi-Fi worked in the coach; I was on stream side across from the antenna. The showers were clean and free. It was about six miles to town, and some shuttle buses showed up. Owners have cute dogs, and they are free roaming, so watch your step. Unfortunately some of the campers near me thought that meant they could let theirs roam also.

rating [ 9/10 ]
There were roomy sites, private shower rooms, and the Wi-Fi was rock solid. The camp is outside of town. We were near road, but after 10:00 we never heard any noise. They had an RV wash and convenience/gas/fuel store next door. They also can book trips for you.

I thought the location was handy. Staff was nice, but never have I had so many people cut through my site as I did here. Sites are tight and at all sort of angles so as to get as many RVs in as possible. Looks new and is probably the only big rig place in town. There was a lot of activity going on. Train station is behind with tour buses. It was quiet at night.

Big over 55 resort. Half park models and rest MH/Trailers. It was off season so it was deserted. Great grounds and facilities. I did not rate higher as we were not given any info about the park or its facilities. Sites that are owned and are back ins are stone with cement pads. They are very nice. The pull throughs are a large parking lot with hook ups. They were great for an overnight. I'm glad they take overnighters but they do not really put out the welcome mat. During high season it probably is much friendlier. Wi-Fi is pay by day and strong where we were.

Pluses are it is easy to move about in, It is near the river and has a boat launch, and a large store. Negatives are after dark you are on your own and quiet hours mean nothing. We had two coaches next to us party after quiet hours with their dog running loose and no one cared but the staff were at our coach at 9 am to make sure we were out of the spot. The check out time was 5pm but as it was Friday on mothers day week end they needed the spot. We had told them we would be out by 10 am. I would say it might be a hit or miss type of campground. There are no big box stores in Needles so you have to go to Lake Havasu for Wal-Mart or Home Depot. If in area again might go to Havasu or the KOA.

Really busy as mothers day week end. They had hay rides, re enacted Black Bart shoot outs, and talent type shows for kids. But at 10 PM you could have heard a pin drop. It was nice for us as an overnighter but no sewer (they set up a pump out) and some what tight pull throughs with opposite direction hook ups with you and your neighbor sharing power, and no 50 amp, just make it not higher. Plus new owners start next week, so hard to tell what will happen. I would probably stay again.

Easy in and out and very clean. Found it quiet and a great overnighter or maybe longer. Don't remember seeing any stuff for children. It is next to an RV dealer. Free continental breakfast in the AM. Wi-Fi worked in coach.

rating [ 7/10 ]
Older park. It was quiet, but power was low and tripped my surge protector twice. I could see the Wi-Fi antenna yet its signal was so weak I could not use it. No 50 amp service and shared power pedestal. Very nice owners, but still it is an older park that needs some upgrading.
05/2008
rating [ 8/10 ]
Very nice check in, and great interior roads. They even have Yurts. Some shower buildings are new some are older, so it is hit or miss. They were clean, and the showers are free, and in our building very hot. Renovations are going on, but some sites will be tight for a large rig. All sites I saw are under trees so expect droppings and messy sites with leaves and flowers/seeds but still a nice park
05/2008
rating [ 10/10 ]
Nice sites and great views. The front rows face the sea or harbor. The interior sites are about 5 feet higher so you still get a view. The shower/rest room/laundry buildings are new and spotless. I did not see one thing wrong. I would not say it is a great place for children if you are looking for activities. The wifi is weak unless you are in the buildings. That is its only weakness. Price is off season.

Older and could use some TLC but OK for a one night. Tree at my site made it harder to get out than should have been. No one in office next day so left money with the coffee crew. Quiet and I can't remember about the Wi-Fi working or not.

This is a funky, older park. More long term sites than transient. However it is clean, neat, and quiet. Very hilly but compact. Limited office hours, but during day the open sites are listed just pay in the envelope and settle in. I had a pull through and a great view through the trees of the distant hills. Would stay again.

I will give it an 8 for being clean, neat and pretty. I have a 38 ft MH and tow a car. I had to disconnect to get into the pull through and it was a tight fit as I had to move the table, then back and fill to get straight. Trees are not an issue just very narrow roads and site pads between utilities and table. I had to park the car sideways to be able to stay in site. So great place for smaller rigs just not great for big rigs.
05/2008
rating [ 6/10 ]
This is the RV park or if you wish the one with the hook ups. We were there in the off season so not full. Back in sites on black top. First come first served and those already there are first in line. Sites are wide but the space between the front of the rigs would make it very tight backing in when busy. You park your car/truck next to your rig. Store nice and check in easy. But showers are pay and not cheap so we used the coach.
05/2008

Older but very clean with new restrooms/showers. Many seasonal long term rigs but pretty tidy over all. Person in office was very helpful and suggested the appropriate sites for our 38ft motor home. Would stay again.

I have never stayed at any of the Outdoor World resorts so I can't compare to them but this is the nicest set up campground I have stayed at. It was clean, quiet, and roads were wide and sites easy to get in and out of. A great for one night or longer. I'm not sure if children would find a lot to do in planned activities.

New and very nice. Ownership park. Golf course a short walk with nice restaurant in club house. It is part of a planned community of houses and golf course. Wi-Fi worked in coach and free. Grounds and buildings use a pass card for security.

rating [ 9/10 ]
Nice park. Sites are easy in and out. Office staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Laundry room is clean. Wi-Fi does cost, but it will work in motor home and as noted is fast. Worth the extra cost, even though I feel it should be part of cost.

Nice people in the office. The sites are OK and usable. The shower rest room is older but clean and wifi as usual at most parks weak, but the front of the rec building has chairs and tables and has a strong signal. It is not a destination but a stop on your way to the destination. It does what it is expected to do.

The family that owns this park also owns Northern Lights. Northern Lights appears to be getting the upkeep. Ok for one night. Bathrooms are old and charge for showers. No wifi when we were there. Looks like it could be a mud bowl in the rain.

This is a gravel lot with plenty of turning room. There is an RV wash pit with hose, and you supply soap. Wi-Fi is weak but works in the office building. It's done that way on purpose as a local apartment house started using the system. Then the owner went to a password system, and the campers gave password to apt house. The owners are nice.

Well graveled lots. Nice lake, and has propane, fuel, and food. Laundry room was very clean and modern. Wifi ok, but not sure about outgoing. He has a sign about not doing downloads and my e mail will receive but not send, and I can surf and send from my web site..so not sure why as e mail has been sending and receiving at other locations.

Gave it a seven as it does what it is, well. It is a parking lot near the city and next to an RV dealer. The Camping World store is gone. It is near the Interstate and also the train is next door. I slept well, but it has noise from train and road and if you need silence you will not be happy. It is a very good overnighter.

No problems on road to park. There was one tight turn but you can see around it. It is close to the interstate. Did hear a train but didn't seem that loud. Found owners helpful and escorted us to site. Would definitely go back again.

Entrance could be missed but not as bad as stated. Drive is narrow but not blind so each coach can see each other. We had a pull through and getting in not bad but tree with trimmed limbs at coach roof hight would make for a very hard exit from site. No one was in the site in front so I could swing wide. It is old and they were working on new sites so may get better but I would not like to have to move a 45 ft coach in and out. I thought my 38" was tight.

it is nicely located at the mouth of a river and a short walk to the beach. It is no frills but it is a great spot to set up to see the NH and northern MA beaches..short drive to Portsmouth NH, Newburyport MA, and Plum Island..hard to get into in the summer, but fall and early spring are first come first served.

Clean, easy to get to. Looking for one night and took the "open sites" near office so not to fight the trees. New showers in the shade area looked clean and roomy. WiFi was so weak, that it was unusable in coach near office.

We were there for a rally and in the lower unshaded area..campground is older but quiet. Sites are not always level, showers had mosquitoes on the walls, needs screen doors. We enjoyed our stay and would go back, but might look for another location.

Looking for a one night stop over to see a friend. Campground is very big and active and has many really nice park models. However having to go by all this to check in and then retrace to get to site was OK but could have done without. Nice site 30 amp only. Badly placed water spigot made getting out harder than it should have been. Nice dump station, but required a 180 degree turn to get to gate to leave after dumping. I had a 38' MH and was pulling a car. I would not have wanted to do it in a larger rig. I found staff to be friendly and help full and the park very quiet.

Stayed 2 nights. I had asked for a water and electric site and after I parked they noticed I only had 30 amp and asked if I wanted 50 and I said yes and they moved me 2 sites over and I then had full hook ups and 50 amp at the same price. We used the laundry and showers and they were very clean. Very pleased with our stay.

Nice park/campground on the river in the center of town. Stayed one night mid-week and found it very quiet and clean. Easy pull throughs for big rigs if not busy. If they are busy you will have a back in and share the power box with 3 other rigs so you may end up with 30 amp as the box only has 2 50 amp plugs. Great one nighter and maybe more if you are looking for a spot to stay, not a resort.
